It is with great sadness we share that John V. Davis died on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021. John was a long-time member of NUMC. He and his wife Jan moved here in the early 1990's. John loved Brown County and loved the town of Nashville, having served on the Town Council for a number of years. He was an avid gardener, an enthusiastic storyteller, a dedicated community servant and an Eagle Scout. He was a longtime member and teacher of the Upper Room Sunday School class. We already miss seeing him in his designated spot on the third pew in the sanctuary and will always be grateful for his encouragement and service.
