Dear Friends,
Starting October 13 you’ll have two weeks to join a
team for The Church Has Left the Building! We will
leave the building together to go into the community
to serve and witness to our faith in Jesus Christ!
• Do some painting and repairs for the new Launch House for addiction recovery
• Fall yardwork for the families in the church and community
• Prepare meals for homebound — and lunch for the workers, too!
• Visit at Brown County Health and Living
• Other projects, too.
Everyone is needed and I hope you will participate
as we use this special day to remind us all that our
work is God’s work and God never stays in one place
or one building — Jesus is always leading us out in
service and love!
9:00 a.m. Morning Prayer Service
9:30—12 Work projects
12 noon Lunch back at the church; kids’ time on the playground!
The words of the hymn, “Here I Am, Lord” challenge us:
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in
the night. I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.
