Dear Friends,
Michael and I are enjoying our time away. We’ve been wearing our masks and keeping distance from people while spending time outside hiking and reading.
We love museums and most of those are closed these days — but we did happen upon a huge outdoor art museum in Portsmouth, Ohio. Over 50 murals are painted along the flood wall and they depict the history of the town and the history of that part of Ohio. They were really amazing and beautiful. Also — to explain the picture above, we discovered that Portsmouth is the birthplace of both Roy Rogers and Branch Rickey (the baseball legend who signed Jackie Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers). Who knew!
We are praying for you all — for health and all that goes with the particular worries of Covid-19; for your strength and faithfulness and with great thankfulness for each one of you.
Blessings always,
Pastor Mary
