It’s Friday and Sunday’s Comin’!
“Do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble.”

Education as a way to “wisdom and understanding” has been a concern of United Methodists for a long time. We are so proud of and grateful for our teachers and educators in Brown County who are working hard to teach and encourage our children and youth in this challenging year!
So…to say thank you, 11 dozen bagels were delivered to the staff of the high school, junior high and intermediate school this morning from NUMC! Thank you to Collie Rees and Ann Walters for coordinating this project. And don’t worry, the elementary schools are not forgotten!

Holy God of wonder and love, each day brings new insight and experiences. Thank you for those who teach and guide our children to explore your world to be responsible and knowledgeable human beings. Bless educators with pride in their work and sustain them in their efforts with grace and peace. Amen.
