DECEMBER 11th

It’s Friday and Sunday’s Comin’!

Isn’t this a cool photo?  I was rather proud of myself on this one. 🙂

On an earlier version of this photo, it was announced that the building would be open on Christmas Eve for music and prayer. But now that doesn’t seem like a good idea. We’d rather be part of the solution in stopping viral spread and not part of the problem.  So the building will not be open.

However, we will have an amazing online Christmas Eve service with wonderful music and scripture and candlelight. You’ll even get to see photos of nativity scenes from other church members in our Virtual Nativity Display.  There will be a fun Zoom Christmas Eve greeting time at 5:00 p.m on Dec. 24. Watch for the zoom link that will arrive in your inbox.

For those without internet access, a special Christmas Eve edition of the NUMC At-Home Worship Guide will be sent out. If you know someone who is not already receiving these guides who would like one, please contact the church office.

So we may not be together in person but the worship and work of the church continues. “Be not afraid because, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which is Christ the Lord!”

Blessings always,
Pastor Mary
