It’s Friday and Sunday’s Comin’!
Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of peace. I hope you’ll tune in to the service. The YouTube link is below — just click the button!
Christmas is just around the corner. We will not have in-person worship, of course, but it will be a beautiful service. The music is beautiful and the NUMC children and youth have prepared a wonderful drama of the Christmas story (see preview photo above).
I hope you’ll also join the ZOOM call on Christmas Eve which is an opportunity to see each other’s face and offer Christmas greetings! It will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 24 (that’s Thursday) and will be a time of fellowship and prayer together. It may not be the same but it will be good! The ZOOM link is in the box below and I’ll send it out again later in the week.
Also, here’s a link to a retelling of the Christmas story from a group of children and adults that you’ll enjoy — shared with us bu Heather Mollo who heard it at her grandchildren’s school:
It is a holy season — a time to celebrate God’s love made known to us in the birth of the Savior. Emmanuel. God with us. Together we are the body of Christ and serve in his name.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Mary
