It’s Friday and Sunday’s Comin’!
This Sunday, February 6, our District Superintendent, Rev. In Suk Peebles will be with us. She will serve communion and bring our Morning message. I look forward to her message about discipleship. Let’s have a good crowd there to support her and receive communion together.
Then next Sunday, February 13, is Scout Sunday. Jim Oliver and the scouts will be involved in several aspects of the service, and we will receive updates on their progress. I will be speaking about the importance of focusing on spiritual roots. Following the service that morning, I will lead a seminar on Small Groups. Lunch will be provided. A sign-up sheet is in the lobby. The seminar will be completed the following Sunday, February 20 after worship.
Finally, on Sunday February 27, we will celebrate Pastor Mary and Michael’s return! We will have a breakfast before the service, and celebrate Pastor’s return during the worship service. Plan to join us for this special day in the church’s life together.
