It’s Friday and Sunday’s Comin’!
Pentecost — Live Life in the Spirit!
Last Sunday during worship Averi and Owen Bohbrink created these amazing Pentecost sculptures. The color red represents the fire of the Spirit and there are lots of connectors — ribbon and wood and fabric — representing the connections between us in the life of the church. I love the way that the stained glass window forms the backdrop in this photo. From the sacred space of the church building, we go out to serve empowered by the Holy Spirit!
I hope you’ll be part of our Pentecost service this Sunday! We’ll celebrate by receiving new members, joining in praise with some amazing musicians and considering together what it means to Live Life in the Spirit!
