Roy’s Ramblings
It is now after Thanksgiving and so we turn our attention to Christmas … I know some of you have had your tree up for a week or more and have been listening to Christmas Music for quite some time, but I digress. This Sunday we Deck the Halls – or – decorate the church building – for the Advent/Christmas season.
You don’t want to miss church this week. The Kids will have a part in the service as they give the Children’s Message to us with “Objects and Carols”. We will hear how important it is to tell our story and what story we should tell. And then after church we will be having a snack of sloppy joe’s before we start the decorating.
I am so very much looking forward to this. Our building is beautiful; and I can only imagine how much better it will look with greenery, lights, wreaths and all the rest. So, come dressed ready to work, come with joy in your heart and ideas in your head, come to fellowship with others and be merry … but most importantly … just come!!
