Roy’s Ramblings
So I’m coming off of a week of vacation – sights, sounds, rest, and reconnecting with family and friends. So we started the week with a trip to Dayton Ohio to see Lauren’s Dad. While we were there we also went to the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson and to Carillon Park to see historical sites of Wright Brothers past – good food, fun sights, and time with Poppa.
Next in the week was work around the house, straightening the garage that has seen a winter of neglect, cleaning up and out of things that need to go to rummage, getting done with some UFO’s (Un-Finished Objects) and starting some new projects like shelving in the garage, crafting items for Fall Fare, and some stuff just for fun.
The week is now almost finished and so I turn to getting ready for Sunday. The Lenten sermon series is loosely based on Adam Hamilton’s study – CREED. So we will be taking a look at the Apostle’s Creed starting this week as we discuss God as in: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. What does it mean to believe things? Who is God? What is God? How do our beliefs affect the rest of our lives?
So the ramblings is short this week because I have other UFO’s and stuff to get done before I come back to race the rats. So I’ll see you all on Sunday as we talk about CREED.
Blessings my Friends – Pastor Roy
